I met the Hampshire Hunt a few days ago and what a lovely group of people they are.Very friendly as were the hounds (don’t call them dogs). I took some photos that I hope to use for my ARPS award from the Royal Photographic Society, I haven’t got one I am really happy with yet. Below is a photograph of the hunt master and his hounds waiting to set of, the horse is very grumpy because he wants to get going and not stand around waiting for everyone.

I would like to wish a Happy New Year to all my customers past and yet to be, I hope 2012 is everything you want it to be.

I did my first point to point race today, it’s just like racing at Newbury or Ascot or Windsor, except that the jockeys are amateurs and the facilities are not so luxurious! The day was very grey and overcast so very little light for such a fast moving sport, hence I could not get a fast enough shutter speed to freeze the horses movement, see below:

Had a beautiful little girl come to the studio to have her photo taken, she smiled the whole time and was most obliging, unlike most children who get bored after a very short time. Here are a couple of photographs just to show what I mean:

Had a beautiful day in Novemebr for a wonderful wedding at Cliddesden Church, Cliddedden near Basingstoke Hampshire. It is a beautiful church, small and in a lovely spot, with a lytch gate. Below are a couple of photos from that day:

Had a brilliant weekend with Solent DA camping near Bishops Waltham over the weekend of 5th Nov 2011. Huge bonfire, loads of guys to burn and a brilliant fireworks display. Here are a few photos from the event.

Brillient wedding on Saturday nice weather and a beautiful church for the ceremony:

Once we had finished the ceremony here everyone went to Tylney hall for a wonderful meal and evening entertainment.

Had a wonderful wedding at St James Church Bramley, a beutiful ald church with some quite amazing ancient wall paintings.

Had a great wedding at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Basingstoke followed by the reception at Hook House Hotel. Shame it rained but at least we managed to get outside for a bit. Below are a photo of Hook House Hotel itself:

Had a brilliant weekend at Shoreham Air Show some of the displays were very different to anything I had seen before, mostly older planes like Spitefires and by/triplanes, well worth going.
