I recently photographed the children performing for Kala The Arts at Fort Hill School Winklebury, Basingstoke, Hampshire. They had 1 day to learn the Indian dance moves and put them together into a dance routine. Then in the evening they all performed for their friends, family and parents in the school hall. They were very good considering they are not used to seeing this kind of dancing. Below are a coupld of photographs I took of the older children performing:

A couple of years ago the Hampshire Court Hotel Basingstoke changed its name to the Hampshire Court Hotel and removed the tennis court in the central court yard and replaced it with a beautiful garden, so now there is somewhere to have some beautiful photographs taken after your wedding ceremony. It is not very large but it is much improved on what used to be there. The staff are friendly and helpful and most rooms look out on to the garden. There is adequate parking and a gym with pool as well.

Had a brilliant day in London last week photographing people on the outdoor ice rink outside Sumerset House and generally touring around the sites of London in particular Covent Garden. Below are a few photographs I took on the day.

On 5th December Bracknell held it’s now annual santa run in aid of a hospice. As part of the entry fee you get a santa suit to wear and at the end a mug and a bar of chocolate and a couple of other goodies. It was amazing to see so many people dressed in red in one place. First they let the ‘Reindeers’ go these are the people that can run and think they will do it in under 30 mins. The they let the ’snow men’ go these should run it in between 30-50 mins and the ‘puddings’ are let loose, these will take over the hour and were followed by 2 men dressed up as Christmas puddings on bikes (I guess they were rounding up the stragglers. On the 5th December 2010 the 25th annual bikers run from Foster Wheeler (Shire Hall) to Barnardos in Wokingham was held. Over 200 motorcycles drove through Wokingham in various states of Christmas attire all in the aid of charity. Below are a few photographs of the event:

in the courtyard before this, excellent on your part.

You have captured so many wonderful memories for us to keep for the rest of our lives. Our family and friends can’t wait
to see them on the web next week. We now have a very difficult decision of what we choose. I feel like displaying so many
of your images in our home. We look forward to receiving your video once you have completed and produced.

As a birthday present for my husband I paid for a trip to the Royal Berks. Shooting School near pangbourne. Along with some friends of ours who also shoot and their wifes we had a great day walking round the beautiful grounds and then a very nice barbeque with wine and beer provided. below are a coupld of photographs from the day:

Once again I was back at Tylney Hall this week photographing a birthday party of a couple celebrating their 80th and 70th birthdays with all their family. We had some fun down by the pond taking photographs across the pond and with it as a background. The children ran round playing tag which was great, Tylney Hall really is a great place to have an event and have phtographs taken (particularly good for weddings). Below are a couple of the photographs from the event, the 2 young men decided they would try to look like Jame Bond!

I photographed a super 50th wedding anniversary at the weekend, a lovely couple with some great family and friends and super harpist playing. The venue was Tylney Hall in Rotherham near Hook a super place for any event and as usual the room was laid out beautifully. Below are a couple of photographs of the venue and flowers.

Photographed a terrific event on Friday, JJs soft play area in South Ham Industrial Estate, Basingstoke arranged for ‘Same Difference’ (X-Factor contestants) to come and sing along with their moto animal band and one of the staff members. Plus there was face painting, balloon manipulators and wild animals to handle along with some great food. The Mayor came to watch ‘Same Difference’ along with the Gazette photographer. A great evening had by all and here are just a couple of the photographs to give you a flavour of the event.
