I spent a lovely week on the Isles of Scilly where during the summer months they have gig racing on wednesdays and Fridays. I jumped on one of the boats to get some close up shots of the racers, here is just one , more to come later.

Had a brilliant day at Vobster Quay inland lake near Frome Somerset last weekend, the weather was brilliant and had some fun with my husband and his friends whilst they scuba dived. Below are a couple of photographs taken by an off duty wedding photographer, from the day:

I had the pleasure of photographing a series of professional, semi- professional and none professional indian dancers last week at the Haymarket Theatre in Basingstoke, Hampshire. They were excellent and ranged from the Bollywood style to a cross between contempory dance and Indian styles. All very good and very different. Below are a couple of images from the night:

On Sunday 20th February there was a wedding fair at Trunkwell House with over 80 stall holders present, displaying everything from room decorations to bridal dresses and photography to tiaras and mensware, and cakes to floral decorations. Below are just a couple of photographs to show the event off:

Tylney Hall is a Grade II listed mansion with beautiful gardens of significant historic interest. It makes an amazing backdrop for wedding photography, with many locations for those beautifully different and secluded photographs. Below are a couple of photographs taken from a recent wedding:

I went to my mum’s 75th birthday party today had a very nice meal at the Angmering Maner hotel in Angmering Sussex. Below are a couple of photos of the birthday lady who hates having her photo taken hence the pursed lips!:

I have managed to secure some albums at pre VAT increase prices so have managed to keep many of my album prices the same this year. Due to printer price reductions and other efficiencies I have managed to reduce the price of several albums so please do look at the prices of my wedding albums to see for your self.

A couple of years ago the Hampshire Court Hotel Basingstoke changed its name to the Hampshire Court Hotel and removed the tennis court in the central court yard and replaced it with a beautiful garden, so now there is somewhere to have some beautiful photographs taken after your wedding ceremony. It is not very large but it is much improved on what used to be there. The staff are friendly and helpful and most rooms look out on to the garden. There is adequate parking and a gym with pool as well.
